The FREDENSTEIN BENTO 10DS is a high-performance lunchbox for Fredenstein Series 500 modules or API-500 compatible plug-in cards in a 19-inch two-rack space format. The unit accepts a maximum of 10 modules. The FREDENSTEIN BENTO 10DS features several important upgrades over similar products:
- An LCD Color Display and a Rotary Encoder: for setting up routing and other parameters with non-volatile memory. Additionally, if certain Fredenstein modules, such as F600A, F601A, F603A/B, F604, and F607, are used, all operating parameters of these modules are also displayed.
- Universal Power Supply: accepts mains voltages from 90VAC to 240VAC, 50 to 60Hz.
- Increased Output Currents: +-16V DC 3.2A and +48V DC 0.3A
- Auxiliary Audio Inputs and Outputs Built-in Audio Layout: modules can be cascaded simply by using the menu-driven user interface on the LCD display.
- Compressor Bus Linking: compressor modules can be linked simply through the menu-driven user interface on the LCD screen. Multi-layer backplane: increased signal integrity and lower noise floor.
- Ground-lift Switching: in case of ground loops, the audio ground and the protective ground can be
- disconnected. Please use only if absolutely necessary.
