4-band Equalizer
The FREDENSTEIN F603B is a high-performance 4-band equalizer for tracking and mixing with a reduced bell curve (Q=0.8).
The FREDENSTEIN F603B features passive LC (Inductor/Capacitor) filters combined with a very short signal path. The low and high frequency filters are shelving type, while the mid frequencies are bandpass filters. Each shelving filter has four different frequencies, while the bandpass filters offer six. The active filter range is indicated by LEDs. For easy sonic comparisons, a true "hard" bypass is available.
The gain range for each filter is +/- 16 dB. The FREDENSTEIN F603B offers unparalleled silkiness, yet at the same time an extremely detailed sonic range. The high-power output stage with an impedance of less than 20 Ohms and a driving capability of up to +/- 200 mA guarantees no loss of performance even with the most demanding complex loads.
