Peak program meter LED
The FREDENSTEIN U70F is an LED Peak Program Meter with simultaneous RMS indication. Each channel uses 60 LEDs for detailed display.
There are two ranges: -39 to +20 dB at 1 dB resolution or -19.5 dB to +10 dB at 0.5 dB resolution. There is also a peak hold function switchable between 2.5 seconds and indefinite hold (manual reset). There are also 4 visually meaningful dot and bar display modes. The meter ballistics were also carefully chosen, and familiarity is a key factor.
The rear panel features XLR inputs with "pass-thru" XLR outputs, to simplify wiring (no "Y" cables). It is available as a desktop unit or as a 1U 19-inch rack.
The FREDENSTEIN U70F was designed with accurate digital recording in mind and intended for those who prefer accurate and clean meters put in line.
