This is a B4 mount lens for 2/3" sensor cameras, capable of offering a 46x zoom that extends the focal length from 13.5mm up to 621mm, extendable to 1242mm thanks to the integrated 2x extender. Despite the extreme range, it maintains a maximum aperture of f/2.8 up to 316mm and f/5.5 at the longest focal length, ensuring brightness and quality even in difficult shooting conditions.
From an optical standpoint, it uses ED and Super ED elements to reduce chromatic aberrations, a proprietary stabilization system that ensures steady images even during sports or live shooting, and an HT-EBC coating that eliminates reflections and flare, improving contrast and black depth. The nine-blade diaphragm contributes to a natural and pleasing bokeh, while the multi-group system maintains sharpness across the entire focal range.
Weighing approximately 5.8 kg and with a minimum focusing distance of 2.8 meters, the UA46x13.5BERD-U1 is designed to be robust and reliable for field productions. The “with trunk” version includes a dedicated carrying case, essential for protecting the optics and facilitating logistics.
