A portable broadcast zoom lens for cameras with 2/3” sensors, notable for having the highest zoom ratio (30x) in its class, covering a wide focal range from 7.8 mm to 234 mm. Despite these characteristics, it maintains a compact and lightweight design with a length of just 190 mm and a weight of 1.7 kg, making it ideal for shoulder-mounted shooting and ENG productions.
The new drive unit integrates a 16-bit high-resolution encoder, ensuring extremely accurate detection of zoom, focus, and iris positions, thus simplifying operations in virtual and remote productions. The rear focus mechanism minimizes focus breathing and ensures silent operation even in autofocus mode. The lens also offers great operational versatility, transitioning from wide-angle to telephoto in times ranging from 1 second to 120 seconds, allowing for both rapid zooms for sports events and slow, fluid movements for concerts or artistic productions.
Optical performance is optimized for 4K across the entire zoom range thanks to design assisted by advanced simulations and the HT-EBC multi-layer coating, which ensures high light transmission and faithful colors.
Finally, the Fujinon LA30x7.8BRM features electronic rear flange adjustment via a single button and a macro function that allows focusing down to 5 cm from the front lens.
