Il Gainlab Audio Bishop è un channel strip interamente valvolare pensato per la registrazione professionale e il tracking. Il preamplificatore a tre valvole offre una struttura di guadagno flessibile e un carattere valvolare musicale, con selettore a scatti su due gamme fino a +60 dB.
La sezione di compressione ottica dual-slope, ispirata al classico LA-2A, è la stessa da cui deriva il compressore Governor: due soglie distinte permettono di passare da un leveling morbido a una compressione più incisiva. La Dynamic Air Band proprietaria reagisce dinamicamente alla quantità di compressione applicata, aggiungendo alle alte frequenze un carattere particolarmente musicale.
