Two independent Vari-Mu compressors
The Gainlab Audio GLA-TC2 Dictator Dual Mono extends the versatility of the original Dictator: each channel features a separately adjustable Vari-Mu section, so the processor can work as two independent units or on stereo material.
Switched controls and linkable sidechain
The switched controls allow setting both compressors to the same values with precision and repeatability. Even with independent adjustments, the sidechain can be linked; the sidechain filter at 80 or 120 Hz modifies the compressor's reaction to low frequencies.
From master bus to tube saturation
The Dictator DM can be used on the master bus, on individual tracks, or during recording: from noticeable, pulsing compression to use as a tube saturator with minimal dynamic control.
