Il Gainlab Audio GLA-OC1 Governor è un compressore ottico valvolare a due canali che amplia le possibilità della compressione ottica tradizionale. Ispirato al compressore Dual Slope del Bishop, unisce il calore delle valvole a un controllo della dinamica estremamente versatile, utilizzabile in tracking, mix e mastering con tre modalità di compressione: dal leveling morbido in stile LA-2A fino a sonorità decisamente più aggressive.
Dual Slope e doppia soglia
Il cuore del Governor è il design Dual Slope: la prima soglia applica un rapporto contenuto con knee morbido per un controllo graduale e naturale; superata la seconda soglia il rapporto aumenta e la curva di rilascio diventa più ripida, per una compressione multistadio in un unico processore.
Tube Boost, sidechain e controllo timbrico
La funzione Tube Boost, sviluppata a partire dall'equalizzatore Empress, permette di modellare il carattere del segnale oltre il semplice controllo dinamico. Sono presenti un filtro sidechain e un ingresso sidechain esterno.
Stereo e dual mono
Il Governor lavora in stereo o dual mono, in registrazione, sui bus o in mastering. Il timing automatico semplifica la gestione della risposta dinamica e il metering con Peak Hold offre un feedback immediato.

Gainlab Audio is a Hungarian professional audio equipment company born from the experience of the Gainlab Studio in Budapest.
