The Golden Age PRE-73 MKIII is an affordable, high-quality, single-channel preamp built exclusively with discrete components and featuring two independent transformers for input and output. Equipped with a circuit very similar to the preamplifier section of the famous Neve 1073 pre/EQ, the PRE-73 MKIII can reproduce the warm, vintage sounds, highly sought after today, that make vocal and instrument recordings extremely pleasant to listen to. The PRE-73 MKIII is perfect for any sound source, whether it's a microphone, synthesizer, guitar, or electric bass. This preamp offers 80 dB of gain on the microphone input and 30 dB on the line input and the high-impedance instrument input.
