The PRE-573 PREMIER by Golden Age Project is built exclusively with discrete components such as resistors, capacitors, and transistors, and features 2 independent Carnhill transformers for input and output. Equipped with a circuit very similar to the preamp section of the famous Neve 1073, the PRE-573 PREMIER is capable of reproducing the warm, sought-after vintage sounds that make vocal and instrument recordings extremely pleasant to listen to. The PRE-573 PREMIER is perfect for any sound source, whether it's a microphone, a synthesizer, an electric guitar, or a bass. The essence of the Neve 1073 sound is now available at a fraction of its price!

- Input and output with Carnhill transformers - made in the UK.
- Balanced and floating output, capable of driving a 600 Ohm load up to approximately 28 dBu
- Max Mic input gain: 80 dB (also ideal for passive ribbon microphones)
- Input gain range: -10 to +80 dB. The 20 to 70 dB range (Mic mode) is controlled by a rotary knob. An additional 5 or 10 dB can be added via a dedicated switch

- Soft start circuit that slowly increases the supply voltage (approx. 10 sec.) to avoid a voltage peak at power-up
- Phase reversal Phantom Power 48 V
- AIR EQ switch that adds a 3 or 6 dB boost at approximately 30 kHz
