The GOLDEN AGE R 1 Active MKIII is a microphone that combines the best of two worlds; the warmth of a ribbon and the stability of an F.E.T. This means that you can use the GOLDEN AGE R1 Active MKIII with long cables and practically any preamp equipped with 48V phantom power. A clean and clear, yet warm and punchy sound is what the GOLDEN AGE R1 Active MKIII will deliver in most cases. Great for drums, as a room mic, or in pairs for O.H. The R1 Active MKIII is a very versatile microphone that is also suitable for some vocal recordings. The mk3 version includes switches for low cut and 10dB pad.
