High-performance stage monitor with 12" / 1.4" coaxial driver. With over 30 years of practical experience and development of coaxial loudspeakers, the hd 12CXN represents a new standard for professional applications. The new 12" coaxial speaker with 1.4" driver, dual neodymium magnetic assembly with 3" voice coils for LF and HF achieves excellent impulse behavior due to the decoupling of both magnetic systems.

With a crossover frequency of 900 Hz, the hd 12CXN sounds clear and transparent. The compression driver with polymer diaphragm is located inside the woofer's magnetic system and is directly connected to the cone diaphragm via a BEM-optimized waveguide.

This means there are no acoustic shadows or reflections on the woofer membrane caused by an external horn. The hd 12CXN has an 80° conical dispersion without a separate horn.

The large bass-reflex port ensures powerful bass reproduction. An important objective of the development process for the new 12" coaxial driver was to achieve performance comparable to 15" stage models but with drastically reduced dimensions and a weight of only 18 kg. With a total height of less than 30 cm, the low-profile cabinet can be integrated very discreetly into any stage.

Variably adjustable monitor angles, a tripod flange recessed in the handle, various anchor points, as well as a switchable connection panel make the hd 12CXN a true all-rounder. In a short time, the 32° monitor angle with the integrated, foldable risers can be adjusted in two steps to 38° or 45° to adapt to the stage situation. The rear of the enclosure is angled at 17°. A flying bracket allows for cluster formation and use for fixed installations with low ceilings.

The integrated passive crossover can be deactivated from the recessed connection panel on the rear, and the hd 12CXN can be operated in bi-amplification mode if necessary. The sophisticated crossover ensures precise and phase-coherent summing of the frequency responses of the individual drivers, with corresponding correction, and ensures efficient operation with conventional amplifiers, Plug & Play, without additional corrections.

A switch on the connection panel allows switching the signal input from pin 1+/1- to 2+/2-. This way, with four amplifier outputs in daisy chain, two AUX feeds can be played with standard 4-pin cables without special interchangeable cables, and the tap can be easily switched to the monitor. Four speakON NL4 4-pin connectors are positioned on the side and rear of the monitor for flexible connectivity.

The hd 12CXN unfolds its full potential in combination with an HD system amplifier. An absolutely flat frequency response with linear phase behavior allows for even more natural reproduction behavior and enormous safety against feedback at all levels. Application-specific presets ensure consistency and reliability regardless of where and in what configuration the loudspeaker system is used or combined with HD subwoofer solutions.
