2-way passive speaker from the HybridLineSource series, equipped with an internal passive crossover, designed to offer high-quality audio performance in various applications.
It employs two 8" neodymium magnet woofers and two 1.4" compression tweeters, which together ensure uniform sound coverage. The LineSource HF unit, as a whole, consists of loudspeakers equipped with a special polymeric diaphragm that, coupled with the waveformers, generates a cylindrical wavefront with a vertical opening angle of 40°. Therefore, the throw of the HybridLineSource system is comparable to that of a Line Array.
With a rated power of 700 W RMS and a peak power of 2800 W, the speaker is capable of handling high sound pressure levels. It offers a coverage angle of 100° x 40°, ideal for broad and controlled sound energy distribution.
The unique HybridLineSource technology contributes to clear and precise sound reproduction, without distortion. It achieves an efficiency of 105 dB/W/m in the mid/low range. It also drastically reduces the space required for system transport.
The hd HLS16P is equipped with an integrated 3-point FastRig rigging system, which facilitates the installation and positioning of the speaker. Using the FastRig anchoring system, the angle between individual speakers can be precisely adjusted from 0° to 16° in 4° increments. It is designed to deliver undistorted sound up to 137 dBSPL, making it suitable for live events, fixed installations, and other professional applications. The special Super Vented design allows for dynamic and broadband reproduction down to 70 Hz in full-range mode, in applications without additional subwoofers.
Weighing 23 kg, it is relatively easy to transport and install.
