Subwoofer ad alte prestazioni basato su un progetto ibrido per la riproduzione di basse frequenze estese al di sotto dei 28 Hz. Eccezionali riserve di potenza combinate con una distorsione minima rendono l'hd Infra218 uno strumento moderno, ma flessibile, per applicazioni touring e installazioni su larga scala che richiedono bassi estremi, SPL elevato e un ottimo controllo sulla dispersione.
Il cabinet ibrido caricato a tromba, in configurazione bass-reflex e sintonizzato in modo ottimale, ospita due speciali driver da 18" a lunga escursione con bobine mobili da 5". Una grande porta reflex centrale ottimizzata per il flusso d'aria consente una turbolenza e distorsione minime. La risposta in frequenza da 28 Hz a 120 Hz rende l'Infra218 adatto per estendere in maniera perfetta i bassi per tutti i diffusori Harmonic Design. Grazie alla sua lunga gittata, all'elevata efficienza e alla sua direttività, l'hd Infra218 può essere integrato in modo ottimale nelle applicazioni Line Array.
L’emissione cardioide è generata passivamente con due o tre hd Infra218 impilati. Un inserto filettato M20 sulla parte superiore e laterale del cabinet consente d’inserire un palo per fissare i diffusori satelliti o una barra distanziatrice. Pattini di protezione in PVC ad alta resistenza su due lati e corrispondenti incavi sulla parte superiore dell'involucro garantiscono un appoggio sicuro.
I connettori speakON NL4, montati sul retro del pannello di connessione incassato, vengono utilizzati per collegare e instradare il segnale d’ingresso. Una presa speakON nella griglia frontale protettiva consente configurazioni cardioidi senza cavi intercambiabili speciali.
