Un’eccezionale riserva di potenza con distorsione minima rendono l'hd Infra221 uno strumento moderno e flessibile per applicazioni touring e installazioni in cui è richiesta un'estrema pressione sonora nella banda di frequenza più bassa e il massimo controllo sull’emissione.
Due speciali altoparlanti da 21" ad alte prestazioni di ultima generazione con escursione lineare di 40 mm e una capacità di gestione della potenza di 14.400 W sono alloggiati in un cabinet multistrato particolarmente rigido e ottimizzato secondo un design a tromba con accordo bass-reflex.
La sua eccellente fedeltà nella risposta all’impulso e la sua velocità sono uniche per un subwoofer doppio da 21" e lo rendono universale, lineare e con impatto “brutale”. Rispetto al subwoofer a tromba ibrido più potente realizzato fino ad oggi da Harmonic Design, l'hd Infra218, Infra221 è in grado di generare oltre 15 dBSPL in più nella gamma delle basse frequenze al di sotto di 28 Hz ed è quindi rivolto agli utenti che richiedono pressione e headroom anche nelle ottave più basse.
Grazie alla lunga gittata, all'elevata efficienza e alle caratteristiche direzionali passive, hd Infra221 può essere integrato in modo ottimale in grandi sistemi audio. Il design acustico consente di combinarlo con tutti i satelliti Harmonic Design e, come estensione infra, con tutti i subwoofer. Un ampio condotto bass-reflex ottimizzato per il flusso CFD al centro assicura un'eccellente eccitazione dell'aria con una turbolenza e distorsioni minime, anche al massimo carico.
Due filettature M20 consentono il funzionamento orizzontale e verticale delle parti superiori con un'asta distanziatrice. Una presa reversibile speakON nella griglia di protezione consente configurazioni cardioidi senza un cavo intercambiabile. Viene utilizzato su tutti gli amplificatori del sistema Harmonic Design per garantire una riproduzione dei bassi affidabile e precisa.
