A 1-way passive installation column speaker characterized by an elegant appearance and excellent sound performance. The 32 2" full-range speakers produce a cylindrical sound wave up to the highest audible frequencies. This type of speaker is the best choice for human voice reproduction due to the low diaphragm weight and dimensions almost equal to those of human vocal cords.

To reproduce a sound event from the fundamental to the harmonics, conventional loudspeakers use two or three different types of transducers; this results in low coherence not only in the crossover areas, but also in the important mid-frequency range due to different decay times and different diaphragm mass of the various types of transducers and a different "response characteristic". Especially in the reproduction of instruments or dialogues where the fundamental range is covered by one type of transducer and the harmonic range by the other type, the sound can be distorted. Here, the consistent 1-way design of the hd ML-Series column loudspeakers offers clear advantages: the full-range loudspeakers, which reproduce the fundamental tone range up to the harmonic range, combined with the Line Source configuration, make the reproduction a first-class listening experience.

The extended frequency response and improved speech intelligibility compared to traditional column speakers make the hd ML32i LineArray Stick ideal for use in acoustically challenging environments such as churches, airports, conference rooms or lobbies. The wide throw of up to 30 m and the 100° horizontal coverage ensure great efficiency with only a few speakers.

The M6 square cage nut slot on the back of the speaker allows all mounts or a tilting tripod adapter to be connected. The internal clamp connections ensure quick and tool-free connection of the speakers. For optimal adaptation to the room architecture, the hd ML32i can be customized in all RAL colors and in special lengths.
