FEATURES
Active 12” stereo subwoofer that combines compactness and power. With an elegant and robust design, it is easy to transport and ideal for mobile setups. It uses a specially developed long-excursion speaker with a 3" voice coil, single rubber surround, and ferrite magnet assembly that ensures optimal heat dissipation via pole piece ventilation with minimal power compression. Less heat generation also means greater reliability and reduced thermal stress on the voice coil. The result is excellent dynamics and controlled, incisive bass reproduction at incredible sound pressure.
The electronics are integrated into the subwoofer body, with a well-organized connection panel on the back offering all necessary inputs and outputs. The over 1500 W amplification stage works in conjunction with FIR (Finite Impulse Response) DSP technology, allowing precise sound management and superior audio quality.
The hd P12 stereo is the optimized subwoofer for the hd M and ML series speakers. Their frequency response is extended downwards, and the headroom/dynamics in the low range are significantly increased very efficiently, relieving the column speakers.
The top of the hd P12st features an M20 threaded insert for a pole and two generous carrying handles for easy handling. The cabinet is made of multi-ply birch wood and covered with a shock-resistant and scratch-proof textured paint. The front of the speaker is protected by a metal grille covered with acoustic foam. Four anti-abrasion rubber feet on the bottom ensure secure placement.
This subwoofer is particularly suitable for live events, DJ sets, conferences, and other applications that require high-quality sound and a quick and easy setup.
