It represents the ideal "control center" to achieve the maximum possible performance and linearity from Harmonic Design PA systems.
It is based on a switching power supply specially optimized for maximum long-term performance, providing high energy for the best reproduction, especially of low frequencies.
A generously sized cooling system with temperature-controlled fans allows full-load operation with minimal noise production.
The user interface consists of an LCD display with navigation buttons for visual information and quick access to key functions such as preset selection, routing matrix, delay, and gain. A USB port on the front is used to connect to the proprietary hd LevelZ software suite for comprehensive system planning, simulation, management, and system tuning of all Harmonic Design loudspeakers, from active 2.1 systems to large sound reinforcement systems, offering maximum freedom in sound modeling and speaker management.
The hd MultiDSP combines IIR and FIR filters to create perfectly linearized phase curves and significantly improved impulse responses for a more natural, transparent, and realistic sound experience.
The amplifier's DSP can be reconfigured using a notebook or a power bank without a network connection and without integration into the network, and can be quickly and easily prepared for the next use.
Time-consuming reconfiguration of basic systems is no longer necessary, making it ideal for touring applications. However, this is not the only possible application, as the hd QT12 can also be conveniently used for concert halls, arenas, open-air live events, clubs, etc.
