Class-D 4 x 2000 W final amplifier at 4 ohms for touring applications. In just 2U rack, this power amplifier delivers reliable high performance day after day.
It represents the ideal "control center" to obtain the maximum performance and linearity possible from Harmonic Design PA systems. In addition to 4 analog inputs, it has AES3 and Dante digital audio inputs.
It is based on a switching power supply specially optimized for maximum long-term performance, providing high energy for the best reproduction, especially of low frequencies.
A generously sized cooling system with temperature-controlled fans allows full load operation with minimal noise production.
The user interface consists of an LCD display with navigation buttons for visual information and quick access to key functions such as preset selection, routing matrix, delay, and gain. An Ethernet port, instead of the USB present on the QT8 model, is used to connect to the proprietary hd LevelZ software suite for complete system planning, simulation, management, and tuning of all Harmonic Design loudspeakers, from active 2.1 systems to large sound reinforcement systems, and offers maximum freedom in sound modeling and loudspeaker management.
The hd MultiDSP combines IIR and FIR filters to create perfectly linearized phase curves and significantly improved impulse responses for a more natural, transparent, and realistic sound experience.
