CARATTERISTICHE
Subwoofer passivo molto compatto, potente e facile da trasportare con accordo bass-reflex. È dotato di un woofer da 15" appositamente progettato, con bobina mobile da 4" che consente un'ampia escursione lineare (±15 mm).
Attraverso la ventilazione al nucleo del polo magnetico, lo sviluppo di calore della bobina mobile viene dissipato in modo ottimale, pertanto è possibile ottenere un'elevata capacità di tenuta in potenza di 1000 WRMS e 4000 W di picco. Il minore sviluppo di calore significa anche maggiore affidabilità e ridotto stress termico sulla bobina mobile; il risultato è un'eccellente dinamica e una riproduzione di bassi asciutti e controllati a una pressione sonora incredibile.
Non dispone di cross-over passivo interno, quindi il taglio in frequenza deve essere effettuato dagli amplificatori di potenza del sistema Harmonic Design o da un cross-over elettronico esterno; fino a un massimo di 160 Hz (con pendenza a 24 dB/oct), garantisce le migliori transizioni possibili tra subwoofer e satellite.
Il cabinet è realizzato in legno multistrato di alta qualità, verniciato per essere resistente ai graffi, agli urti e alle intemperie con una finitura in polyurea finemente strutturata. Due maniglie di trasporto ergonomiche sulla parte superiore assicurano una facile movimentazione.
La parte anteriore del subwoofer è protetta da una griglia in acciaio antiruggine rivestita con schiuma acustica incollata internamente. Un inserto filettato M20 sulla parte superiore del cabinet consente di montare un palo per agganciare un altro diffusore. Inoltre, quattro piedini in gomma resistenti all'abrasione sul lato inferiore assicurano un appoggio sicuro. hd Sub15 è disponibile anche nella versione da installazione senza maniglie e filettatura M20.
Può essere utilizzato come subwoofer slave in aggiunta al subwoofer attivo hd P15 stereo o con tutti gli amplificatori finali del sistema Harmonic Design per garantire una riproduzione affidabile e accurata delle basse frequenze.
