L'hd Sub21 è un subwoofer passivo ad alte prestazioni da 21" con accordo bass-reflex dotato di un woofer con magnete in neodimio di ultima generazione per applicazioni di sound reinforcement da medie a grandi. Il cestello dell'altoparlante, appositamente sviluppato, consente una pressione sonora e una resilienza estremamente elevate grazie al suo design innovativo, stabilendo nuovi standard nel rapporto tra dimensioni e prestazioni in applicazioni mobili o installazioni permanenti.
Il suo eccellente comportamento impulsivo, la risposta ai transienti rapida e la sua profondità brutale sono unici per un subwoofer da 21". Rispetto al radiatore diretto più potente realizzato fino ad ora da Harmonic Design, l'hd Sub18, il Sub21 è in grado di generare oltre 15 dBSPL in più nella gamma di basse frequenze al di sotto dei 35 Hz ed è quindi rivolto agli utenti che necessitano di una pressione sonora “viscerale” e una headroom anche nell'ottava più bassa. Le porte reflex ottimizzate con flusso CFD garantiscono un funzionamento silenzioso anche al massimo carico.
Un inserto filettato M20 sulla parte superiore del cabinet consente di avvitare un palo di sostegno per altri diffusori da utilizzare in combinazione. Inoltre, quattro piedini in gomma resistenti all'abrasione sul lato inferiore e le relative aperture sulla parte superiore garantiscono un impilamento sicuro dello stesso cabinet, che è realizzato in legno multistrato e dotato di rivestimento in poliuretano resistente agli urti e agli agenti atmosferici.
La parte anteriore dell'altoparlante è protetta da una robusta griglia con schiuma acustica interna. Nelle pareti laterali sono integrate maniglie di trasporto di grandi dimensioni. Sul retro si trovano le filettature d’ingresso per il fissaggio delle SilentWheels hd, le ruote silenziose da 100 mm disaccoppiate acusticamente, nonché un pannello di collegamento incassato con due prese NL4 per il collegamento tramite pin 2+/2- e l'inoltro del segnale d’ingresso.
hd Sub21 si può utilizzare su tutti gli amplificatori del sistema Harmonic Design per garantire una riproduzione dei bassi affidabile e precisa.
