Increasingly, installations of audio systems for commercial applications require greater versatility and high performance in terms of power and sound pressure level, yet they have less and less available space. HELVIA understands these needs well and offers a range of single-zone mixer-amplifiers in standard ½ 19" rack format with power ratings between 30W and 240W, capable of operating on both 100V lines and low impedance down to 2ohm with maximum stability (2 ohm operation is only provided for 120W and 240W models; for 30W and 60W models the minimum limit is 4 ohm). The HPMA series – where "P" stands for Pocket – integrates a mixer with 1 Combo Mic/Line input with 48V Phantom power, a front AUX input with stereo mini-jack plus a rear stereo RCA AUX input, and a multimedia Player with DAB+ and FM tuner, USB reader and BT; the level of each input is independently adjustable from the front panel. The Class-D amplification modules integrate digital processing with limiter, overheat protection, fan control, DC-offset and current protection to ensure operation at any audio level at high impedance down to a minimum of 2 ohm in complete safety (2 ohm operation is only provided for 120W and 240W models; for 30W and 60W models the minimum limit is 4 ohm). The HPMA-Play series amplifiers can be mounted on a rack thanks to the optional HPMA R1-Kit mounting kit.
