The ZEUS CA series by Helvia is designed for small and medium audio installations on both constant voltage lines at 70V or 100V, and low impedance lines from 4 to 16 ohms. It offers Class-D amplifiers in 1, 2 and 4 channel configurations with RMS powers of 120W, 240W and 350W. Each channel is independent and has its own line transformer, therefore it is possible to choose between 70/100V operation or low impedance between 4-16 ohms for each one, offering maximum versatility depending on the needs of each zone. Each channel is equipped, in addition to volume, with LED VU-meter and clip indicator, as well as gain adjustment via trimmer on the rear panel. There is also a High-Pass filter with cutoff frequency at 400Hz. Input and output connections are all balanced with XLR connectors; power outputs are on Phoenix connection (Europlug). The 1 and 2 channel versions also have auxiliary DC 24V power supply for any emergency auxiliary lines. Helvia has devoted great attention to the safety, reliability and durability over time of these amplifiers. Each channel is equipped with a mute-on-power-up system, signal limiter, thermal protection and current limitation. The cooling system with temperature-controlled speed fan is further enhanced thanks to the standard 2U 19" rack format which promotes heat dissipation. Quality is based not only on the selection of active and passive components, but also on the quality of materials used in line transformers and the use of digital processing to offer stability, reliability and high-level audio performance.
