HERITAGE AUDIO 1073 Microphone Preamplifier
Estimated delivery in Italy between 7 and 9 July
Microphone Preamplifier
The HERITAGE AUDIO 1073 is a microphone preamplifier designed to fill input module slots in the restoration process of vintage 80 Series audio mixing consoles.
Should outboard mounting be preferred, the HA1073 can be installed in the Power Audio Frame 8 and Rack 2 racks.
Particular attention has been paid to sourcing the correct components that ensure performance is as close as possible to a 1070s unit, with today's possibilities. Custom polystyrene and polypropylene film capacitors have been developed to perfectly match the Siemens Styroflex and Mullard Mustard types from the late 1960s and early 1970s. Custom input transformers have also been designed in collaboration with Carnhill's Oxford transformer factory to meet HERITAGE AUDIO's special needs, ensuring the correct harmonic distortion content and saturation points.
The HERITAGE AUDIO 1073 is entirely handcrafted in HERITAGE AUDIO's facilities in Spain, using the same wiring and soldering techniques as in the 1970s. The production of a single module takes several days for one of the master builders. All its circuitry is contained on four plug-in cards.
