2-Channel Microphone Preamplifier
The HERITAGE AUDIO DMA 73 is a 2-channel 1073-style microphone preamplifier in a 1U rack format.
It includes several key additional features that will cover all recording needs for engineers and musicians who do not require tracking with EQ.
Employing only discrete circuits and conventional components, the HERITAGE AUDIO DMA 73 is a 3-stage, all Class A 1073 preamplifier.
Styroflex and tantalum capacitors have been used throughout. No compromises.
A useful discrete Class A hi-pass filter has been added, essential for recording everything except perhaps kick drums and bass.
The Line mode allows for re-amping of pre-recorded tracks and is perfect for adding Class A color to lifeless recordings.
The DI circuit is a discrete Class A JFET circuit placed before the MIC transformer, so all the juiciness is there. Since its introduction in 2012, it has become a classic DI for bass.
Power management is handled by an external linear power supply, included in the package.
