Hollyland's internally developed 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz ADH (Auto Dual-band Frequency Hopping) wireless technology ensures the Pyro series delivers stable 4K @ 30 fps wireless video and a range of up to 400 m line-of-sight, offering superior clarity, detail, and realism. This makes the Pyro S ideal for professional applications. ADH technology supports up to 4 receivers and provides advanced anti-interference performance, while also improving range. With a comprehensive App monitoring solution, users can access a range of sophisticated tools such as waveform, vectorscope, zebra pattern, aspect markers, anamorphic de-squeeze, and crosshatch directly on their devices.
The simple mode selection interface allows for a smooth frame rate and low latency experience with enhanced video clarity. Smooth or HD modes are available to suit the shooting scenario. In Smooth mode, the Pyro S emphasizes fluid playback and low latency by dynamically adjusting the bitrate to achieve a constant latency of just 50 ms and a transmission distance of 200 m. HD mode, on the other hand, offers superior image quality, with a stable bitrate of 8 - 12 Mbps, even at 400 m, ensuring sharp video.
This system offers the perfect solution for both professional shoots and smaller projects, as it employs USB Video Class (UVC) and Real-Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP) for easy device connectivity and compatibility, as well as direct streaming to platforms such as YouTube Live, TikTok Live, and others: no capture cards or complex software are needed.
The Pyro S features HDMI and SDI input/output, supporting a wide range of video formats for maximum compatibility with industry-standard equipment. With resolutions up to 4K @ 30 fps via HDMI and versatile frame rate handling in SDI (23.98 / 29.97 / 59.94 fps), this kit offers top-level visual fidelity and flexibility, allowing users to choose the best connection based on their shooting needs and equipment.
The lightweight aerospace-grade magnesium/aluminum alloy shell ensures portability and physical robustness for demanding, fast-moving video creators. Both the transmitter and receiver feature a vivid LCD display, providing easy-to-read access to the intuitive user interface and quick settings selection. An efficient cooling system with a dual-mode fan (auto or low-speed mode) is also available.
The Pyro S is therefore the perfect solution for multi-user monitoring in dynamic shooting scenarios, such as film production, live events, live streaming, ENG/EFP applications, and more.
