Solidcom C1 Pro is a full-duplex wireless intercom system ideal for large events such as television and film productions, church services, and live performances. It features an ENC (Environmental Noise Cancellation) system, a technology that isolates speech in crowded shooting environments, drastically reducing background noise. This ensures that all production team members interacting via the intercom can rely on clear and clean communication, even in particularly noisy areas. This active noise cancellation system uses a secondary omnidirectional microphone to capture background noise, in addition to the main electret directional microphone for speech pickup, which boasts a frequency response of 150 Hz to 7 kHz. Pressing a button on the main microphone activates the ENC environmental noise cancellation function. The background noise captured by the secondary microphone will be attenuated by this advanced signal processing algorithm by over 20 dB, making the voice much clearer.
Like Solidcom C1, the C1 Pro is also based on a system with 1 master headset and several slave headsets. It is possible to use 1 master headset and up to 7 slave headsets without the need for any hub or communication station. Solidcom C1 Pro-4S, in particular, is based on 1 master headset and 3 slave headsets. However, if many headsets are needed for different work teams, an optional hub can still be purchased to create two communication groups.
The line-of-sight range reaches 350m with audio signal transmitted on the 1.9 GHz GFSK band with DECT 6.0 encryption.
In this Pro version, the control layout has been redesigned with a new mute button in the center, which also functions as Push-to-Talk if held down. The volume buttons are now located above and below the mute button, while the A/B buttons used to switch between groups when using a hub are on the left and right sides. The headsets are powered by removable batteries: the maximum usage time on a full charge is 5-6 hours for master headsets and up to 10 hours for slave headsets. The charging time is 2.5 hours. The very low weight of approximately 170g each, including the battery, makes Solidcom C1 Pro extremely comfortable.
Each kit includes a charger, two batteries per headset, a carrying case, a USB-A to USB-C cable for firmware updates, and replacement earpads for each headset.
