Solidcom C1 Pro is a full-duplex wireless intercom ideal for large events such as TV productions, filmmaking, church services, and live shows. It features an ENC (Environmental Noise Cancellation) system, a technology that isolates the voice in noisy shooting environments, drastically reducing background noise. This way, all production team members interacting via intercom can rely on clear and clean communication even in particularly noisy areas. This active noise cancellation system requires the use of a secondary omnidirectional microphone to capture background noise, in addition to the main directional electret microphone for voice pickup, which boasts a frequency response from 150 Hz to 7 kHz. By pressing a button on the main microphone, the ENC environmental noise cancellation function will be activated. The background noise captured by the secondary microphone will be attenuated by this advanced signal processing algorithm by more than 20 dB, making the voice much clearer.
Like Solidcom C1, C1 Pro is also based on a system with 1 master headset and several slave headsets. It is possible to use 1 master headset and up to 7 slave headsets without requiring any communication hub or station. Solidcom C1 Pro-6S, in particular, is based on 1 master headset and 5 slave headsets. However, if many headsets are to be used with different work teams, the optional hub can still be purchased to create two communication groups.
The line-of-sight range reaches 350m with audio signal transmitted on the 1.9 GHz GFSK band with DECT 6.0 encryption.
In this Pro version, the control layout has been redesigned with a new mute button in the center, which also functions as Push-to-Talk if held down. The volume buttons are now located above and below the mute button, while the A/B buttons used to switch between groups when using a hub are on the left and right sides. The headsets are powered by removable batteries: the maximum usage time with a full charge is 5-6 hours for masters and up to 10 hours for slaves. The charging time is 2.5 hours. The very low weight of approximately 170g each, including the battery, makes Solidcom C1 Pro extremely comfortable.
Each kit includes a battery charger, two batteries per headset, a carrying case, a USB-A to USB-C cable for firmware updates, and replacement ear cushions for each earpiece.
