SimplTrack3 is HuddleCamHD's new third-generation PTZ camera featuring auto-tracking and auto-framing: the perfect combination of advanced technology, intuitive operation, and high-level security.
This PTZ makes conference or lecture production easier than ever, requiring neither specific technical skills nor an operator, thanks to smooth automatic tracking up to approximately 17 m away with perfect focus up to 20x zoom in 1080p @ 60 fps with rotation up to 270° and a field of view of 59.5°.
Automatic Tracking and Automatic Framing
SimplTrack3's advanced automatic tracking and framing capabilities can easily switch between tracking a presenter and framing groups of people in the scene, making it an ideal solution for capturing a lecture or classroom interactions. SimplTrack3's Smart Auto-Tracking technology intelligently locks onto the subject, ignoring other moving people and adapting to changes.
Of course, both automatic tracking and automatic framing can be deactivated as needed, switching from automated PTZ controls to manual PTZ movements with a simple command. These commands can be sent from the software (included) or from one of our joystick controllers.
Zone Management
The tracking zone encompasses the entire area where a subject might move within the frame. It is designed to ensure smooth monitoring of the speaker or lecturer, covering a wide area and offering flexibility in movement.
The block zone is strategically placed in areas that might cause unwanted tracking, such as near doors, whiteboards, or TV screens. This zone is crucial for preventing the camera from automatically tracking irrelevant movements or passing individuals, ensuring that the focus remains on the main subject. SimplTrack3 includes 8 block zones.
The preset zone represents an innovative feature where an automatic preset is triggered when the camera enters a selected area. This could include switching to a separate camera, activating a stage light, or any other tailored preset to enhance the presentation or lecture experience. SimplTrack3 includes 8 preset zones.
Customization
With SimplTrack3, camera controls can be automated and quickly adapted to any workflow. Dedicated tracking sensitivity options allow for complete customization of zoom level, pan/tilt speeds, and automatic operations to suit the teacher's presentation style. Manual mode can be enabled, allowing SimplTrack3 to be used with the included IR remote control, a PTZ camera joystick controller, or camera control apps.
HuddleCamHD SimplTrack3 caters to various user preferences in its auto-tracking functionality, allowing for direct and simple one-button setup. For users desiring more control, SimplTrack3 also offers the possibility of more complex configurations, enabling detailed adjustment and fine-tuning of the tracking process.
Dual Sensor
The dual-sensor system offers superior flexibility and performance in various environments, from classrooms to auditoriums. Designed with two sensors, the camera can simultaneously monitor the entire room while tracking and highlighting a single subject, providing viewers with a comprehensive view of the scene. The 20x optical zoom lens ensures clarity in every shot, even from afar. SimplTrack3 offers multiple video outputs: SDI, HDMI, USB, IP (including NDI), and an additional output from the wide-angle reference camera. Finally, it supports PoE.

SimplTrack3 comes with HuddleCamHD's dedicated management software, allowing large-scale deployments to remotely configure and control a network of cameras on the same LAN. It offers a wide range of output options, including USB, IP, SDI, and HDMI compatibility, enabling seamless integration with existing systems.

Its advanced dual-sensor system allows for the simultaneous capture of a wide-angle video feed and a detailed close-up video from the main lens.
