IK MULTIMEDIA ARC SYSTEM 2.5 is the first acoustic correction system that combines an ultra-precise MEMS measurement microphone with dedicated software and a plugin, capable of improving monitoring accuracy and the frequency response of the studio and any listening environment in general. The ultra-precise MEMS microphone works in perfect synergy with the ARC acoustic correction software (of course, previous microphone models are supported) and features an omnidirectional capsule that ensures maximum accuracy and stability over time. Unlike standard condenser measurement microphones, which unfortunately are subject to variations in frequency response over time, MEMS technology is much more stable. The underlying manufacturing process guarantees extreme resistance to humidity, temperature variations and impacts, as well as greater measurement precision, which can be easily repeated even after a long time. In the same way, variations between different microphones of the same type are almost eliminated.
IK MULTIMEDIA ARC SYSTEM 2.5 employs advanced patented Audyssey MultEQ® XT32 technology to generate an acoustic correction algorithm based on measurement results, effectively eliminating all problems and artifacts caused by an unoptimized environment.
IK MULTIMEDIA ARC SYSTEM 2.5 corrects the response of the entire room and not just the "sweet spot". Once the measurements are complete, IK MULTIMEDIA ARC SYSTEM 2.5 elaborates an algorithm that you can apply to the tracks by activating the dedicated plugin on the master bus of the DAW.
The acoustic correction process implemented by IK MULTIMEDIA ARC SYSTEM 2.5 is completely transparent, allowing for a more natural and precise listening experience even in studios that already boast professional listening, where maximum accuracy is mandatory.
