IK MULTIMEDIA ILOUD MTM is a studio monitor characterized by an absolutely neutral frequency response and a perfect sound image even at short distances.
What a studio monitor must guarantee is a neutral, accurate, and balanced representation of the program, so that the mix can translate correctly to any playback system. IK MULTIMEDIA ILOUD MTM uses the most advanced DSP techniques to ensure total control over speaker performance, guaranteeing results simply unattainable with traditional analog designs.
The high frequencies are neutral and defined, the mids are precise and transparent, and the low frequencies are extended and balanced. Of course, it's "loud", with 100 RMS per speaker and 103dB SPL maximum sound pressure.
IK MULTIMEDIA ILOUD MTM offers an extended response down to 40Hz, a fundamental range for providing a complete picture of modern productions.
With ILOUD MTM, IK MULTIMEDIA introduces the new and exclusive physical response linearization system (PRL™), patent-pending. This technology combines a precise physical model of the electroacoustic system and measurements taken on real units to achieve optimal linearization of low-end performance. The result is a surprisingly solid, balanced, and defined low-end, with a precision capable of surpassing systems significantly larger than MTM.
The advanced DSP processing of IK MULTIMEDIA ILOUD MTM offers an accurate phase response across the usable frequency spectrum.
IK MULTIMEDIA ILOUD MTM uses a symmetrical midrange-tweeter-midrange design with a pair of high-performance 3.5-inch mid-woofers and a 1-inch high-resolution tweeter with a loading chamber, which guarantees an ultra-precise and defined sound that traditional two-speaker systems simply cannot achieve, especially when listened to at close distances. Furthermore, this system minimizes listening fatigue caused by traditional 2-way or 3-way designs, where different frequencies arrive at the ear at different times.
The design of IK MULTIMEDIA ILOUD MTM also offers exceptional sound dispersion, optimizing transparency and neutrality and minimizing the impact of room acoustics, for even more accurate monitoring.
In addition to all this, this innovative design maximizes the reduction of monitor dimensions, which are 30% to 50% smaller than monitors with similar features, so you can take them with you even in smaller spaces.
IK MULTIMEDIA ILOUD MTM offers an integrated acoustic auto-calibration system, so that the frequency response automatically adapts to placement. Just place the monitors where the studio allows, position the microphone, press a button and you will instantly have a calibration based on the listening environment. Furthermore, you can adjust the low-frequency extension and fine-tune the level of low or high frequencies according to your preferences.
IK MULTIMEDIA ILOUD MTM uses uncompromising A/D and D/A conversion, and very high-resolution algorithms to manage linear phase digital cross-over filters, alignment, equalization, dynamic range, and auto-calibration. Completely controlled by DSP and perfectly time-aligned between the two ways, iLoud MTM has a controlled off-axis response, in order to minimize the effect of reverberation introduced by the listening environment.
