IK MULTIMEDIA IRIG MIC LAV is a lavalier microphone for Android, iOS and MAC with an omnidirectional condenser capsule and a convenient pop filter, capable of recording every minimal detail. You can comfortably monitor your work through headphones thanks to the integrated output. All of this, together with a solid clip, robust design, and a long cable, makes it an accessible yet uncompromising work tool.
IK MULTIMEDIA IRIG MIC LAV was designed to meet the high standards required by broadcast professionals: its omnidirectional capsule allows it to record a full and detailed audio signal (30Hz - 16kHz) while the pop filter isolates unwanted external noise, such as that caused by wind, and minimizes vocal plosives. Like any self-respecting lavalier, it comes with a solid clip, which can be easily attached to the lapel of a t-shirt, shirt, or other clothing, leaving your hands free during recording.
For good field audio recordings, it's not just high recording quality that makes the difference, but also the ability to listen to what you're recording. Not all models on the market offer this possibility, not even the most renowned ones, and IK MULTIMEDIA IRIG MIC LAV is the first lavalier microphone to integrate this function.
Simply connect headphones or earphones to the mini-jack TRRS input (3.5mm), select them via the small side switch, and you're ready to monitor the audio signal as you record it.
IK MULTIMEDIA IRIG MIC LAV allows you to use up to two microphones simultaneously thanks to the dedicated switch using the same mini-jack input used for headphone monitoring.
