IK MULTIMEDIA IRIG PRE HD is an MFi-certified (“Made for iPhone and iPad”) interface, entirely designed and manufactured in Italy, conceived to work optimally right out of the box with all iOS devices equipped with a Lightning port (cable included). The USB cable, also included, allows you to connect the interface to Mac and PC. The package also includes 2 AA batteries and a Velcro strap for attaching to a stand or other support during use.
IK MULTIMEDIA IRIG PRE HD allows recording up to 96kHz/24-bit with a frequency response of 20Hz-20kHz (+/- 1.5dB), bridging the gap between the world of portable devices and professional XLR studio microphones, for recording instruments and sound content for the multimedia world including radio, interviews, documentaries, films, etc.
IK MULTIMEDIA IRIG PRE HD features a Class A mic preamp with an impressive 40dB gain range, a multi-color LED indicator, +48V phantom power (with the 2 AA batteries included), and allows you to record with the highest quality using your dynamic, ribbon, or condenser XLR microphones.
IK MULTIMEDIA IRIG PRE HD features an 1/8” headphone output with integrated volume control, useful in various professional contexts. Capable of delivering impeccable listening (even on the very latest iPhones) of high-resolution music, leveraging the high quality of its converters, it can also be used to send the signal to external auxiliary devices such as a PA or a mixer.
The “Direct monitor” switch allows for real-time, zero-latency monitoring of the recorded sound, making listening easier in noisy environments or during a performance.
IK MULTIMEDIA IRIG PRE HD includes Mic Room for Mac/PC and iOS, the creative app that allows you to harness the sound and character of the most sought-after studio microphones ever. Mic Room is compatible with Audiobus and Inter-App Audio and can therefore be used with other applications, to create freely. iOS users can enjoy Mic Pack for VocaLive, which adds a fantastic collection of virtual microphones to the application, and the Pro Bundle for iRig Recorder, which expands its functionalities with new processing possibilities through equalization and compression.
