IK MULTIMEDIA MEMS is an ultra-precise acoustic correction microphone that works in perfect synergy with ARC acoustic correction software. The microphone features an omnidirectional capsule that ensures maximum accuracy and long-term stability. Unlike standard condenser measurement microphones, which are unfortunately subject to frequency response variations over time, MEMS technology is much more stable.
The underlying manufacturing process guarantees extreme resistance to humidity, temperature variations and shocks, as well as greater precision in measurements, which become easily repeatable even after a long time. Likewise, variations between different microphones of the same type are almost eliminated.
As a result, measurements will always be precise and reliable, not subject to variations if repeated and after long periods of time.
It is also possible to use IK MULTIMEDIA MEMS for recording. The OMNI configuration allows you to naturally "capture" the sound of the environment in which you are recording a voice, an acoustic guitar or other instruments.
