The Raccoon P7/4 is a high-brightness and high-CRI PAR, with IP65 protection, designed for applications where brightness and quality are of great importance, particularly for rental applications and situations requiring high light output. It features 7 extremely bright LEDs, each with four colours: red, green, blue, and mint. It is possible to switch between maximum brightness mode and maximum colour quality (high CRI) mode.The fixture offers top-level control options. The core technology of the Raccoon series is the calibrated colour engine, which ensures exceptional colour quality and stability. Thanks to the integration of technology with xy control modes, the Raccoon series guarantees consistent and precise colours at all times. The sophisticated software engine, developed in Europe, ensures exceptionally stable colour rendition in all circumstances. Thanks to temperature compensation (LED), which is continuously monitored by the software, any visible colour shift during operation is avoided.
We use the same calibration standards as the Infinity Signature series, so the fixtures have extremely uniform colour. Five different internal dimmer curves are available through an easy-to-use menu system, including a tungsten shift simulation that also works with an applied colour filter! It can internally manage CCT, RGB, and Lee filters.
In addition to xy mode, control via DMX, RDM, and manual operation is also possible. The PWM frequency is adjustable between 640 Hz and 25 kHz, ensuring flicker-free images. Basic settings, such as PWM and dimmer curve, can be copied between Raccoon lamps on the same network to ensure identical behaviour. Robust 5P XLR DMX and Power Pro True power connectors ensure reliable connections and IP65 compliance. With its elegant housing and accessories such as barn doors, a top hat, filter frames, and diffusion filters, the Raccoon series represents an ultra-versatile competitor for high-end PARs.
