The Raccoon P14/4 is a very high-brightness, high-CRI, IP65-rated Par projector designed for applications where both brightness and quality are of great importance, particularly rental applications and situations requiring high light output. It features 14 extremely bright LEDs, each with four colours: red, green, blue, and mint. It is possible to switch from maximum brightness mode to maximum colour quality (high CRI).The device offers top-of-the-range control options. The main technology of the Raccoon series is the calibrated colour engine, which ensures exceptional colour stability and quality. With the built-in XY technology, no matter which XY-compatible devices you mix, their colours will always match! The calibrated internal controller ensures exceptionally stable colour reproduction at every LED temperature and every brightness setting, without any visible colour change during adjustment.
We use the same calibration standards as the Infinity Signature series, so both devices have extremely consistent colours. Five different internal dimmer curves are available through the easy-to-use menu system, including a tungsten shift simulation that also works with a colour filter applied. It can internally handle CCT, RGB, and Lee filters.
In addition to XY mode, control via DMX, RDM, Manual, and Master/slave is also possible. The PWM frequency is adjustable between 640 Hz and 25 kHz, ensuring flicker-free camera images. Basic settings, such as PWM and dimmer curve, can be copied between Raccoon projectors in the same network to ensure identical behaviour. Robust 5P XLR DMX and Power Pro True connectors ensure reliable connections and IP65 compliance. With its elegant housing and accessories such as barn doors, a cylinder, filter frames, and diffusion filters, the Raccoon series represents an ultra-flexible competitor for high-end Par lamps.
