The Raccoon P7/7 is a Par projector with very high CRI, high brightness, and IP65 rating, intended for applications where both brightness and quality are of great importance, particularly exhibitions, museums, and situations requiring high light quality. It features 7 extremely precise LEDs, each with seven colors: red, green, PC green, blue, royal blue, PC amber, and cyan. You can switch between maximum brightness mode and maximum color quality (high CRI) mode.
The device offers top-of-the-line control options. The core technology of the Raccoon series is the calibrated XY color engine, which ensures exceptional color stability and quality. With built-in XY technology, no matter what XY-compatible devices you mix, their colors will always match! The calibrated internal controller ensures exceptionally stable color rendering at every LED temperature and every brightness setting, with no visible color shift during adjustment. We use the same calibration standards as the Infinity Signature series, so both devices have extremely consistent colors. Five different internal dimmer curves are available through the user-friendly menu system, including a tungsten shift simulation that also works with an applied color filter. It can internally handle CCT, RGB, and Lee filters.
In addition to XY mode, DMX, RDM, Manual, and Master/slave control are also possible. The PWM frequency is adjustable between 640 Hz and 25 kHz, ensuring flicker-free camera images. Basic settings, such as PWM and dimmer curve, can be copied between Raccoon projectors on the same network to ensure identical behavior. Robust 5P XLR DMX and Power Pro True connectors ensure reliable connections and IP65 compliance. With its elegant housing and accessories like barndoors, a cylinder, filter frames, and diffusion filters, the Raccoon series represents an ultra-flexible competitor for high-end Par lamps.
