Crystal clear 96kHz/24-bit sound and ultra-low noise. The iRig HD 2 features a high-quality 24-bit converter and supports sample rates up to 96kHz, the highest in its class, giving you noise- and crosstalk-free sound. Such precision allows you to capture every single nuance of your instrument while recording on iPad, iPhone, Mac, or PC. Thanks to a totally transparent preamp, the characteristics of every element of your guitar are faithfully represented – from pickup to electronics, from strings to body. You will simply recognize your sound. One of the features that distinguishes iRig HD 2 is the ability to send the direct or processed signal directly to a guitar amplifier via an unbalanced 1/4” output, without having to use adapters or other accessories. By selecting “FX” you can send the processed signal to an external device, a very useful function when you want to use your iPad or laptop as a pedalboard or virtual rig for live performance.
Alternatively, the THRU option allows you to send your guitar's direct signal to the jack output and then to your pedalboard, tuner, or an additional external rig.
iRig HD 2 features an integrated clip and a Velcro strap that allow you to securely attach it to a microphone stand during your live gigs.
