Il JBL JRX215 è un diffusore passivo a due vie per sound reinforcement, con cassa trapezoidale e woofer da 15". È a suo agio nella musica dal vivo, nella musica dance e nel rinforzo del parlato, ed è quindi una scelta versatile per band, DJ, service audio e locali.
La sezione bassi utilizza un woofer JBL da 15" con bobina mobile da 64 mm (2,5") avvolta in piattina di rame, che offre più sezione di conduttore nel traferro rispetto ai design a filo tondo, a vantaggio dell'efficienza e della tenuta in potenza. Le alte frequenze sono affidate al driver a compressione JBL 2414H-C con diaframma in polimero da 25 mm (1"), che migliora le prestazioni e l'affidabilità del sistema.
Il crossover a topologia avanzata modella la risposta in frequenza per una somma coerente nella zona di incrocio; condensatori e induttori ad alta tensione con nuclei massicci e cavi di grossa sezione consentono di gestire potenze elevate senza saturazione. La guida d'onda Progressive Transition? offre un controllo superiore della copertura, minore distorsione e una risposta più lineare, mentre il sistema SonicGuard? protegge il driver delle alte frequenze dall'eccesso di potenza senza interrompere l'esecuzione.
Il mobile in MDF da 19 mm, assemblato con adesivi avanzati e fissaggi meccanici, garantisce robustezza e migliori prestazioni alle basse frequenze. Completano la dotazione le maniglie in acciaio non risonanti, la griglia in acciaio perforato calibro 18 e il supporto per asta a doppio angolo, che consente un'inclinazione di 10° per una copertura più uniforme del pubblico.
