The JBL SRX800 series uses new premium JBL transducers that combine high power with extremely low distortion levels. High frequencies are controlled by a dedicated waveguide that ensures accurate horizontal and vertical coverage with a wide, consistent response across the entire area. The high-excursion woofers provide powerful, clean, and articulate bass typical of the JBL brand, with minimal dynamic compression even with continuous use at high volumes. All SRX800 series models incorporate a Crown DriveCore amplifier with an output power of 2,000 W (1,000 W in the SRX818P sub). HARMAN DriveCore technology enables the design of lightweight, highly efficient, yet extremely powerful amplifiers. The onboard DSP includes 20 parametric EQs, 96 kHz FIR (Finite Impulse Response) filters to improve crossover tuning, delays to align components, and even a signal generator to help calibrate the system. All models have JBL Application Engineered presets pre-loaded to facilitate and speed up system setup. In addition, SRX800 series speakers and subwoofers are compatible with HARMAN's HiQnetT Ethernet network communication protocol, allowing control via Audio Architect or JBL SRX Connect, the new iOS and Android application that provides a fast and simplified approach to system control. SRX800 series cabinets are built to last in various types of applications. The speakers have M10 threaded suspension points and a standard 35 mm pole mount for stand placement.
