2.1 Desktop Audio System
The IN-UNF is specifically designed to be positioned on a desktop and the desktop is incorporated as an acoustic element of the system. Reflections from the drivers to the desktop to your ears are taken into account, delivering a perfectly clear image of your mix. The IN-UNF is comprised of three main pieces: a subwoofer unit and two satellites. The subwoofer unit houses two 4.5-inch high-excursion woofers as well as the amplifier and other electronic components of the system. The two woofers are horizontally opposed, so no net vibration is transferred to the desktop or anything resting on the subwoofer unit. The two satellites employ the same coaxial midrange and tweeter as the acclaimed IN-5 and IN-8 studio monitors from Kali. The midrange/tweeter satellites are spherical and sit on a silicone pad that allows you to adjust the angle so they are pointed directly at your ears. The subwoofer unit also houses the IN-UNF inputs, including a USB-C input that supports 24-bit resolution and sampling frequencies up to 48kHz. Connect your computer, laptop, tablet, phone or other audio devices equipped with USB. iOS devices with Lightning connector require Apple's camera adapter kit, sold separately. Balanced TRS, 3.5 mm, and optical inputs are also provided for easy connection to professional and consumer audio devices as well as gaming consoles and televisions.
