Entry Level Arranger Keyboard
The KORG EK-50 is an Entry Level Arranger Keyboard with over 700 PCM sounds, a maximum polyphony of 64 notes, 280 Styles with 4 Variations, 2 stereo digital Multi-FX, 34 effect types, an Audio Player for Mp3 and Wav, SMF (Standard MIDI File) Song Play, USB stick playback, a 12-Track Sequencer, 10 W × 2 Bass Reflex Amplifier, and USB MIDI.
The KORG EK-50 features automatic accompaniment functions called "Styles," which allow you to play with even very elaborate arrangements by simply playing chords or even with just one finger. The accompaniments adapt to the chords played with the left hand, and you can easily improvise by playing the melody with the right hand. The internal styles of the KORG EK-50 include over 280 musical genres from all over the world, each with four variations of varying complexity, plus an Intro and an Ending, to start and end each musical piece optimally.
The "STS" (Single Touch Select) function is also available, which automatically selects the most appropriate sounds for each Style, allowing for the perfect matching between these two important elements, already optimized and ready to be used.
The KORG EK-50 contains over 702 realistic sounds including pianos, strings, wind instruments, and drums. Their quality allows them to be used in both solo performances and in a band. The Split function is available, which allows you to divide the keyboard into two parts with two different sounds in each part.
In the center of the operational panel is a large, bright, and clear Display, which shows the names of the currently selected sound and Style in very prominent characters. The main switches are illuminated by LEDs to help visualize the setting of each function immediately. There is also a "Grand Piano" button to select the grand piano timbre at any time, regardless of the selected sound.
The KORG EK-50 features an efficient integrated stereo amplification system, with 10 W x 10 W speakers. This is capable of effectively reproducing the full dynamic range generated by the instrument and has an auxiliary input for connecting an external device. Also included in the package are a music stand and an AC adapter, everything you need to start playing immediately. The KORG EK-50 can also run on AA batteries (sold separately).
