Korg Handytraxx Tube is a portable turntable with belt drive and CPU-controlled rotation compensation. Preamplified with NuTube valve technology, it features an aluminum platter, balanced tonearm, JICO J44A 7 MM cartridge, USB port for computer recording, integrated stereo speakers, line/phono RCA outputs and mini-jack headphone jack. It operates on mains power or 6 AA batteries. It plays vinyl records at 33, 45 and 78 rpm.

With integrated stereo speakers, a portable design and battery operation, Handytraxx Tube offers a comfortable and high-quality listening experience of your vinyl records. Every component has been meticulously designed to prioritize sound quality, including a die-cast aluminum platter for precise and stable rotation, a balanced tonearm with an MM cartridge and a phono preamplifier powered by Korg's innovative NuTube valve technology.

Unlike a standard turntable, Handytraxx Tube, in addition to being compact and transportable, optimizes sound quality thanks to the warmth of NuTube valve technology developed by KORG INC. in collaboration with Noritake Itron Corporation. Like conventional tubes, NuTube is constructed with an anode, a grid and a cathode and operates exactly like a complete triode tube, actually generating the same response and characteristic harmonic richness. With the TUBE parameter you can manage the harmonics, thus adjusting the valve's effect on the sound to your liking.

Rediscover the charm of vinyl

Have you ever picked up those old records set aside in a corner of your room, looking at the covers, reading the booklets, wishing you could listen to those sounds again? Whether you're dusting off a collection of classics or exploring new vinyl releases, Handytraxx Tube will bring back your passion for listening to vinyl records. Designed for both experienced audiophiles and casual enthusiasts, this turntable combines analog technology and innovation. You can listen to your favorite records without needing separate amplifiers or speakers: an immediate listening experience.

Listen with extraordinary sound

Korg Handytraxx Tube goes beyond the standard turntable to give you a superior listening experience in a compact format. The die-cast aluminum platter ensures precise and stable rotation, allowing accurate playback of your records. The belt drive system, supported by specially developed software, constantly monitors pitch and speed, maintaining optimal performance.

Key components such as the stylus and cartridge have been carefully designed. The tonearm features a universally compatible structure with an interchangeable cartridge, giving you the freedom to use your preferred stylus or experiment with a different sound by installing one of the many commercially available options that adopt the MM installation standard. The adjustable counterweight ensures precise stylus pressure, supporting cartridges with a recommended pressure of 4 grams or lower. With the MM JICO J44A 7 pre-installed, Handytraxx Tube delivers powerful and dynamic bass along with excellent groove tracking performance. Plus, the device includes customizable bass and treble controls, enhancing the tonal richness of your vinyl records.

Advanced NuTube phono equalizer performance

The heart of the Handytraxx Tube is its integrated phono amplifier, which leverages Korg's innovative Nutube technology. This next-generation design not only enriches the audio with warm harmonics, but adds depth and clarity to every record. Tubes, once pillars of high-quality audio, are becoming increasingly rare and expensive due to the decline of period raw materials. To address this need, Korg developed Nutube: a modern solution that preserves that timeless appeal.

The phono equalizer of the Handytraxx Tube plays an indispensable role in achieving optimal sound quality. Designed to enhance the original sound of your vinyl, it adds those pleasant harmonics, characteristic of tubes, for a rich and immersive listening experience. The TUBE control allows you to fine-tune the harmonics, enabling you to find the perfect sound balance according to your listening preferences. Integrated directly into the Handytraxx Tube, this phono amplifier guarantees both convenience and performance, with the ability to connect to a traditional stereo system via the line output or use dedicated phono inputs for those enthusiasts who prefer external preamps.

Take vinyl with you. Anywhere!

Portability is a key feature of the Handytraxx Tube. With a footprint similar to an A3 sheet and a weight of just 3KG without batteries, it's designed to accompany you wherever your music takes you. It can be powered via an AC adapter or 6 AA batteries: versatile and convenient for both home and on-the-go use. The included dust cover provides protection, ensuring the device is always ready to use, whether permanently installed in your room or taken on the road. The unit includes stereo speakers (with on/off switch) and a headphone output, allowing you to listen to records even at night.
