The Korg microKey Air series retains all the features of the second series of microKey MIDI/USB keyboards, with the added functionality of wireless MIDI data transmission via Bluetooth. This allows for cable-free use. Thanks to "Apple Bluetooth Low Energy MIDI" Smart Bluetooth and power supplied by two AA batteries, offering approximately 30 hours of use, you can use these keyboards without any cables, with complete freedom, with all iOS devices (iPad/iPhone with iOS 8 or later) and recent Apple computers (MacOS X10.10 Yosemite, or later) that support Bluetooth protocol version 4.0 or higher. The wireless functionality is activated via a dedicated switch on the side of the product. The Korg microKey Air can also function via USB, a connection that will not only transmit MIDI data but also provide power. These peripherals do not require drivers to operate via USB with Windows operating systems (version 7 or later) and MacOS (10.8 or later), which will automatically recognize them once connected. The Natural Touch Mini keyboard certainly won't make us envy other models with larger keys, as it has been designed with particular attention to touch and response, to offer excellent playability when performing chords, glissandos, and fast melodic phrases, thanks to a specially designed proportion between white and black keys. For these characteristics, the microKey and microKey Air series keyboards by Korg are an excellent physical extension for playing any type of virtual instrument.
