MicroKORG was one of the most popular and iconic synthesizers, revolutionizing the world of music in some respects with its unique architecture and unmistakable sounds. Used in countless performances and historical recordings, its influence has lasted for over 20 years. Beloved by musicians, sound engineers, and producers, microKORG now evolves to a higher level with the new microKORG 2 Standard. This new model retains all the most characteristic aspects of the original, such as its compact size, ease of transport, mini-keyboard, program selection dial, and Vocoder with dedicated microphone. Instead, it offers many decidedly innovative aspects such as a new high-performance sound engine, an updated Sound Library with modern and impactful sounds, a user interface based on a bright 2.8'' color IPS LCD display that makes navigation even easier and more intuitive, combined with a new and powerful Vocal Processor with 4-voice Harmonizer, Hard-Tuning, Vocoder, and finally a Loop Recorder that makes the instrument perfect for the diverse world of today's music production.

MicroKORG 2 Standard features an entirely new analog physical modeling sound engine, which delivers remarkable performance in terms of sound quality and dynamics. Without the typical restrictions of hardware synths, this instrument allows, despite its ease of use, an advanced level of sound design, thanks to, for example, the Virtual Patches that provide pre-set, effective yet simple-to-use modulation paths; all under the control of the new Display and its graphical interface that always clearly and precisely shows every operation performed on the panel. The sounds in the internal library of microKORG 2 Standard have been completely reprogrammed to offer a wide tonal choice: from the more "Fat" and penetrating traditional analog synth sounds to the more modern, futuristic, and cinematic ones, to satisfy all the needs of modern musicians and producers.
