Six channels to manage up to ten audio signals
The mixer provides four stereo inputs and two mono inputs. This configuration makes it ideal for users with multiple desktop synthesizers, drum machines, volca, NTS series instruments, or modular systems. Each channel features dedicated level control, Mute function, independent CUE monitoring, and SEND FX level adjustment. The two mono channels also integrate PAN control, allowing you to position the signal within the stereo panorama. All audio connections use 3.5mm mini jack connectors, perfectly compatible with the most compact hardware instruments.

One of the most interesting aspects of the KORG NTS-4 is its easy integration with Eurorack systems. The two mono inputs can operate at both Line and Modular levels thanks to an attenuator selectable during kit assembly. This allows direct connection of Eurorack modules without the need for additional interfaces or adapters.
Dual integrated effects engine
Korg Nu:Tekt NTS-4 integrates two independent effects sections. The SEND FX section operates as a classic send/return processor, giving you the ability to select a Delay, Ping Pong Delay, Hall Reverb, Slap Reverb, or Chorus effect and then apply it to the desired channels using the dedicated Send potentiometers. The TOTAL FX section, on the other hand, acts on the Master, with processors dedicated to sound shaping and performance refinement such as filters (LPF, HPF, Isolator), Flanger, Phaser, Decimator, Drive, Distortion, Compressor, and Limiter. Both sections allow real-time parameter modification via their respective EDIT controls, enabling immediate adjustments during performance.
SEND and RETURN connections for external processors
In addition to internal effects, the mixer features dedicated stereo SEND and RETURN connections. This solution allows for easy integration of external reverbs, delays, analog processors, or any other external effect, significantly expanding sound possibilities without altering the operational flow of the setup. External effects function like a classic send/return bus, maintaining full control of levels directly from the mixer.
Immediate control during performances
Each channel has dedicated CUE and MUTE buttons. The CUE function allows you to pre-listen to a signal in headphones without sending it to the main output, an extremely useful feature in live performances. The CUE BALANCE control also allows you to blend the pre-listen signal with that of the main mix, facilitating transition preparation. The three-digit LED display and EDIT controls allow quick management of effect parameters without interrupting the creative flow.
USB-C Audio and MIDI for studio and live
The USB-C port performs three fundamental functions simultaneously. It powers the mixer via USB bus, transports 24-bit/48kHz digital audio to and from a computer or mobile device (smartphone or tablet), and enables MIDI communication via USB. Computer audio can be mixed with hardware sources or recorded directly through the mixer, while MIDI messages received via USB can be automatically forwarded to the MIDI OUT to control external synthesizers and instruments. No drivers are required on major compatible operating systems.
