The TR-S is Nu:Tekt by Korg's preamp pedal that can be self-assembled and, thanks to the Nutube valve, recreates the sound of a tube amplifier, even when connected to a solid-state amp. Thanks to the Tube Gain, Mix, Power Sag, and Volume controls, it's possible to precisely adjust the pedal's response and the compression of the tube itself. Additionally, there are SAG-related controls, namely Tone, Sustain, and Threshold, with which the amp's compression can be further refined.

This device features a circuit that manages the compression of the tube itself, made possible only with the Nutube. The TR-S includes three adjustment knobs inside the top cover of the enclosure, in addition to the four knobs on the panel, allowing you to get even closer to your desired sound.
