KORG NU:TEKT NTS-1 DIGITAL KIT is fully compatible with the logue-SDK, allowing you to use custom oscillators and effects available for minilogue xd and prologue instruments, or to create your own.
Despite its size, KORG NU:TEKT NTS-1 DIGITAL KIT is a very rich instrument, with a digital oscillator inspired by the MULTI engine of the acclaimed prologue and minilogue xd, an arpeggiator with configurable modes, ranges and scales, and a dedicated section for spatialization, modulation and delay effects, all with various controllable parameters. With a single mono digital oscillator, a multimode filter, an EG and 3 LFOs, 3 stereo effect processors, and an arpeggiator, KORG NU:TEKT NTS-1 DIGITAL KIT is a powerful, flexible, and fun synthesizer to explore.
The main oscillator reproduces sawtooth, triangular, square, and VPM waveforms, as well as providing the ability to load waveforms programmed in the Korg logue SDK. These waveforms are shapeable and adjustable simply by using two potentiometers.
Various filters are selectable: low-pass, high-pass, and band-pass, all available in 2- and 4-pole versions, plus an OPEN mode. Resonance is present on all of them for extreme control of the signal generated by the oscillator.
The three effect processors are derived from the KORG minilogue xd and include numerous reverbs, modulation effects, and delays to make the sound reproduced by the synthesis chain even more captivating.
KORG NU:TEKT NTS-1 DIGITAL KIT also provides an extremely practical and engaging arpeggiator, as it features various patterns. You can configure the scale and have numerous note playback modes, including a Random mode for rapid generation of musical ideas. The pattern length is configurable from 1 to 24 steps and, when synchronized externally, the step duration can also be adjusted between a sixteenth and a 64th.
Thanks to the ribbon controller, a simple user interface, and the display, KORG NU:TEKT NTS-1 DIGITAL KIT presents itself as an extremely intuitive, as well as powerful, instrument. In addition to directly accessible parameters, further advanced parameters can be adjusted using combinations of keys and potentiometers.
Equipped with AUDIO IN, SYNC IN, SYNC OUT, and MIDI IN connections, KORG NU:TEKT NTS-1 DIGITAL KIT can be used together with other hardware and software instruments. It can be controlled by MIDI controllers and sequencers, used to process an external audio source with its powerful digital effects, and/or synchronized with other hardware.
KORG NU:TEKT NTS-1 DIGITAL KIT is powered via USB through the micro-B port, connectable to any portable battery, computer, or mains using a standard USB charger.
KORG NU:TEKT NTS-1 DIGITAL KIT grants free licenses for software such as Izotope's "Ozone Elements," "Reason Lite," and various virtual instruments produced by Korg and other brands. Additionally, it grants access to a "Skoove" subscription: an application dedicated to interactive music lessons.
