TRUE BYPASS and ULTRA BUFFER

In addition to a TRUE BYPASS circuit that keeps the input sound unchanged, Pitchblack X BL now also includes an ULTRA BUFFER. Most electric guitars use passive pickups with high-impedance output. Using cables longer than 6 meters usually causes tonal degradation in the high frequencies; this phenomenon tends to worsen with longer cables. The BUFFER boosts the signal over long cables to prevent this tonal alteration, keeping the sound clear and clean even when the pedal is off. The ULTRA BUFFER improves sound quality in bypass mode, maintaining audio quality even when using long cables to connect to the tuner or installing the tuner in a complex effects pedalboard. On Pitchblack X BL, you can select either TRUE or ULTRA BUFFER according to your preferences or needs.

LED Meter with adjustable brightness

On Pitchblack X BL, to achieve better visibility performance, a larger display and a greater number of LEDs have been introduced in the Meter. The Bright Mode (brightness adjustment) can be set to 2 levels, to achieve optimal visibility even in critical operating conditions such as on brightly lit stages or outdoors.

Precision Tuning

Pitchblack X BL allows for fast and precise tuning with a tolerance of only 0.1 cents when in Strobe mode; this makes it the ideal tool for professional Live or Recording situations where tuning is a fundamental parameter that allows no approximations or inaccuracies.

METER with 4 Display Modes

On the Meter Display, you can choose between 4 types of display according to personal needs: REGULAR, STROBE, HALF STROBE, which indicate pitch variations by the direction and fluctuation of the METER, to distinguish even the smallest differences in pitch. MIRROR, which when tuning the instrument displays two LEDs on the left and right that cross towards the center.

JUST-RIGHT TUNING function

Pitchblack X BL features a new "JUST-RIGHT TUNING" display function, which makes the triangular LEDs on both sides flash when the tuning is correct, a function that eliminates all stress for the musician!

Robust cabinet, also battery powered

Pitchblack X BL is housed in a robust aluminum cabinet finished with a durable scratch-resistant coating. It operates on 9V batteries, making it perfect for musicians who do not use an effects pedalboard; if necessary, it can also be powered by an AC adapter (optional).
