The Korg Volca Beats offers 6 classic analogue-style sounds: kick, snare, 2 toms, open and close hi-hat. Korg presents this new drum machine that combines the practicality and typical sound of its 6 analogue parts with 4 PCM parts, all programmable into a drum pattern thanks to the 16-step sequencer derived from the Electribe series, with Stutter, Active Step and Step Jump functions. Like the other synths in the Volca series, the Beats has MIDI IN and mini-jack sync in and out connections for use in a chain, synchronized with other analogue synths, for playing it from your computer-based DAW, or with external MIDI keyboards.
